2 Day Tiling Labourers Course (£289)

Course Content - What you will do.

Fully developed Angle grinder Skills and basic marking (full training with dozens of difficult marked cuts)
Cutting Tiles straight, angled cuts and point to point marking. (we use Rubi and Sigma machines)
Customer skills, Image and the importance of company etiquette.
Maintaining Cleanliness, staying Tidy and Organised at all times.
Cutting trim - plastic and Chrome using various grinder wheels
Marking and then drilling holes into tiles with diamond drill bits to get around Pipes etc.
Measuring, cutting and applying a baton to the wall.
Surface preparation - patching up using Rapid set and other materials
Removing and replacing tiles Tiles effectively with a Breaker.
PPE - the importance of Personnel Protective Equipment
Using a paddle mixer correctly and safely and mixing with a gauging trowel
Mixing different adhesives, pot life, set time and work times
Mixing grout and understanding time scales
Grouting to a very high standard and becoming quicker
washing and cleaning grout using the Washboy System (we use Karl Dahm)
Washing and cleaning Buckets and Tools properly.
Learning how to find the center point of a wall or floor.
A full understanding of a Tilers Needs.

This is a one day course which will provide you with all the skills you need to become a Tilers Labourer. You will be more than capable to go out there and get straight to work. Its a good idea to have a job lined up already if you can, or if someone you know is looking for a tiling labourer maybe get in touch and let them know you will be ready.

Or, even if you are a Tiler and have someone in mind to become your labourer then possibly put them on the course to save yourself hours of time teaching them how to use a grinder and mix etc.

You will learn everything you need to know to get straight into work. No previous experience required. Most tilers start off here and can expect to earn at least £120 per day immediately.

A decent labourer has to be very good with a grinder - its just a fact. You will be using the grinder like you have been using it for years when you leave the Academy and you will look like an expert.

Remember your not just making Tea and brushing up. a Tilers Labourer has a lot more skills to offer than just a 'Labourer' and gets paid accordingly.

My Last labourer I had from school was on £50 per day to start. Eventually as he became so efficient I was paying him £160 per day. why - because he helped me go quicker and was worth it !!! (since gone on to be a tiler)
