- We are a local family run business which is fully dedicated to your needs. We are based on North Mersey Business Centre on Knowsley Industrial Park L33. We are easy to find with excellent motorways links from anywhere in the country.
- We have a dedicated training unit designed to simulate the real life tiling situations you will come across. We have individually built pods for 8 students. Students will be tiling a full kitchen splashback and bathroom simulation walls and floor including cutting around obstacles such as sockets, windows, extractor fans, pipes, toilets, baths, cooker hoods and sinks. Dealing with any obstacle including tiling around columns and boxing in. We will be identifying and using all of the tools needed for any project. We cover wet room prep, tanking, Underfloor heating and the importance of grouting with use of a Washboy system and much much more.
- If you want to work as a self-employed tiler then we can give you the best possible start. Your tutor started from scratch. He can help you to get there quicker and avoid the mistakes he made. You will be shown all different materials for different projects.
- We have an excellent setup designed to keep you more than happy whilst your with us. To keep those sugar levels up we have multiple treats on offer which are topped up daily, The kettle is always on at The Tiling Academy with tea and coffee, cakes, biscuits crisps and all kinds of sweets to help keep you going. - With new legislation surrounding the construction industry and all contractors needing to be qualified, we have now become an approved GQA Qualification Centre, so we can offer you your NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Wall & Floor Tiling along with several others.
Family Run Business
- You will be taught by our tutor Stu who has been a tiler for over 17 years and has successfully set up and ran from scratch his own tiling business domestic and commercial both of which are still running today.
- As we are a family run business, Stu is your tutor, we also have James, Stu's son who is a fully qualified Tiler. Chris Stu's Dad who is an ex plasterer willing to give you free advice. Also there is Connah who helps with anything you need and generally looks after the place. There is also Cheryl Stu's Wife who takes care of all our paperwork and Admin. Our team of dedicated staff will be on hand to assist in delivering to you what we can only describe, in our opinion, as the best wall and floor tiling course money can buy.
